The Crafty Tutor, Proudly Serving Duval, St. Johns and surrounding counties in Florida. Leading Kids Craft Club for Ages 2-12 yrs.
When you join our club, you can relax knowing your child is in a safe and nurturing environment where they can create educational and fun crafts.
Your child will join an intimate group of no more than 10 friends and create something new each week, from frame-worthy art to fun toys to play with at home after class.

Welcome to The Crafty Tutor, a dream business born from my absolute passion for teaching, creativity, and hands-on fun! My journey into education started about 13years ago. I spent 8 wonderful years as a certified Exceptional Education teacher in a private school classroom. Everything changed when I decided to homeschool my daughter, who has global developmental delays. Navigating her education was the best decision I ever made as a mom, and it opened up an exciting new chapter. We jumped into the homeschool co-op scene, where I spent 5 amazing years teaching cooperatively and falling even deeper in love with personalized learning.
Through these experiences, I realized firsthand that children thrive when learning is an adventure. I wanted to build a place where kids could experiment, express themselves, and grow without the heavy pressure of perfection. That is how The Crafty Tutor was born—it is a true work of "heART" where I combine professional academic support with all things crafty, creative, and hands-on!
I am a Direct-Pay, Step-Up approved service provider, and my mission is to meet your child exactly where they are. Because every child learns differently, our programs are intentionally designed to engage auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners alike. We offer three excellent pathways to help your child realize their awesome abilities, close learning gaps, and strengthen their self-esteem:
• Individualized Private Tutoring: I offer tailored, 1-on-1 support across all core subjects. Literacy is incredibly close to my heart, and I specialize heavily in Reading. I am fully trained in the Orton-Gillingham (O.G.) approach. This equips me with powerful, multi-sensory tools to guide emergent readers, boost delayed readers who need a confidence lift, and support students navigating dyslexia.
• Small Group S.T.E.A.M. Program: These are developmentally appropriate, STEM-based arts & crafts classes designed for ages tots to tweens. Each class is an hour long, and I provide all the supplies! We frequently repurpose everyday household items to build hands-on projects. This imaginative approach sparks curiosity, encourages critical thinking, and teaches real-world problem-solving as kids transform ordinary objects into amazing masterpieces.

Your child can receive private academic coaching and join our creative group STEM based art & crafts classes for the ultimate learning adventure.
Whether we are unlocking the magic of reading, solving math puzzles, or diving into a science experiment, we use games, interactive centers, and creative activities to reach concept mastery. If one approach doesn't work, we simply try another until it clicks! Together, we will celebrate your child’s unique identity, nurture their imagination, and build a love of discovery that lasts a lifetime.

What We Offer
Our curriculum includes science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) to make learning fun. Kids love it!
We use the Creative Crafting Curriculum.
This curriculum has been developed by a team of experts including an architect, engineer, occupational therapist, and play therapist. It has been tested and proven successful in over 5,000 clubs. So, there's no need to look for other arts and crafts programs.
You can rest easy at night knowing that your child is receiving the best creative activities that will prepare them for the future.
We understand that time and money are valuable resources, that's why our lessons combine elements from five different clubs: crafting, art, music, clay work, and STEAM-based learning (which includes science, technology, engineering, art, and math).

No. The supplies are included with the cost of registration.
We feel it is important that everyone receives special attention; therefore, all classes are typically kept to a maximum of 10 students.
We provide all the supplies and materials. All you need to do is bring a good attitude and an open mind.
The classes tend to get messy and could result in paint or other damage to personal items or clothing. Therefore, students are strongly encouraged to wear old clothes. We are not responsible for any damages.
In the rare case that a class may be canceled, you will be notified as soon as possible, and your class will be rescheduled.
